Group Benefits Producer

We are a 123-year-old, multi-lines agency with strong ties to and involvement in the community. We have an immediate need for an experienced, personable and highly motivated Group Benefits Producer to join our team.

Qualifications include a current New York State Life/Accident/Health license and a minimum 5 years’ experience working as a benefits broker. We prefer a candidate who is able to bring an existing client base, and utilize our excellent support staff to take his or her business growth to the next level. The successful candidate will have a track record of prospecting for and closing sales with potential clients in the areas of Group Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance. In addition, rounding of accounts with Disability Income, Long-Term Care and New York State DBL/PFL policies is desirable. Working knowledge of HSAs, HRAs and Section 125 Cafeteria Plans is expected. You will work alongside our account managers and our in-house TPA service team. There is also the opportunity to cross-sell property, liability, and Workers’ Compensation insurance, enabling your clients to have all their insurance through a single agency.

Health Benefits Account Specialist

We are a 123-year-old, multi-lines agency with a strong presence in our community and across the country. We have an immediate need for an experienced and personable team member in our Health Benefits department. This department is responsible for servicing and renewing the existing book of business as well as attracting new clients on an ongoing basis.

Requirements include 5+ years prior experience in a CSR or Account Manager role, either with a health insurance carrier, or within the health benefits department of an insurance agency. The individual in this position advises Group and Individual clients and suggests the best possible solutions for their benefit needs. We offer Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, Medicare and New York State of Health Exchange plans. A New York State Broker’s license is required. Strong time management and organization skills are essential to success in this busy position. Computer skills should include agency management software and Microsoft office.

Professional Liability (E&O) Producer

The ideal candidate will be one who is interested in educating and advising land title professionals with regard to their insurance needs. An organized and self-motivated individual will be most successful in this role. Applicants must be comfortable cultivating and building relationships on the phone and in person, and have strong presentation and closing skills. Two or more years in a sales or insurance position, and the ability to create clear, client-focused proposals and presentations is necessary. You must also be willing to travel on a quarterly basis, for one week each time.

Personal Lines Account Representative

This position handles a busy, medium-to-large multi-lines Personal Lines book of business. The successful candidate will have current experience in processing and renewing auto, homeowners and related personal insurance policies and endorsements, as well as rating and quoting new and renewal business. A current NYS P&C license is preferred; however, if you do not currently possess this license, if hired, we will assist you in obtaining one.

In all of the above positions, strong attention to detail, organized work habits and excellent customer service skills are required. Computer proficiency is necessary, and experience with Agency Management systems is a plus.
